Valtek line of control valves for severe duty are designed to meet a variety of challenging applications. From noise reduction to cavitation solutions, high capacity to pneumatic actuators.
Noise Reduction Control Valves
MegaStream
MegaStream control valve trim reduces control valve noise and vibration in a wide range of gas applications. MegaStream works to reduce noise by up to 30 dBa through staging, frequency shifting, attenuation and velocity control.
Stealth
Stealth control valve trim reduces control valve noise and vibration in the most demanding gas applications. Stealth combines new advances in noise control with previously proven technologies to create the most effective device capable of eliminating noise in the most demanding services.
TigerTooth
TigerTooth control valve trim creates multi-staged pressure drops that are effective in reducing noise and vibration in gas services and in eliminating cavitation in liquid services. TigerTooth effectively reduces noise and vibration in gas services by up to 35 dBa through staging, attenuation and velocity control. TigerTooth uses multi-stage pressure drops to eliminate cavitation in liquid services.
Cavitation Solution Control Valves
ChannelStream
ChannelStream trim prevents cavitation from forming and minimizes hydrodynamic noise even in the most challenging liquid applications. Staged pressure drops eliminate cavitation by maintaining pressure above the vapor pressure—never allowing cavitation to form.
CavControl
CavControl valve trim lowers cavitation damage by controlling the location and concentration of cavitation vapor bubble implosions in an area away from metal parts. CavControl trim utilizes a number of small, diametrically opposed flow holes through the walls of a special seat retainer.
CavStream
CavStream valve trim lowers cavitation damage by controlling the location and concentration of cavitation vapor bubble implosion in an area away from metal parts. CavStream trim utilizes a number of small, diametrically opposed flow holes through the walls of a special plug
DiamondBack
DiamondBack trim prevents cavitation from forming and minimizes hydrodynamic noise even in the most challenging liquid applications. Staged pressure drops eliminate cavitation by maintaining pressure above the vapor pressure, never allowing cavitation to form. DiamondBack combines new advances in pressure drop management with previously proven technologies to create the most effective device capable of eliminating cavitation in the most demanding services.
Sidewinder
SideWinder trim prevents cavitation from forming and minimizes hydrodynamic noise in high pressure drop, low flow applications. Staged pressure drops eliminate cavitation by maintaining pressure above the vapor pressure, so that cavitation never forms. Using the proven DiamondBack advanced pressure drop mechanisms in an axial flow configuration producing precise control in low flow conditions.
StarPac 3
The StarPac 3 offers repeatability, accuracy and quick system response time with a small footprint and simple installation. It can stand alone or be integrated into a system, and is available for a variety of applications including oil and gas, chemical, paper, mining, industrial gases and power generation.
Erosion Resistant Control Valves
Survivor
The unique Survivor control valve design solves the harshest erosion, corrosion and flashing applications. With a variety of ceramic trims available, no other valve will last longer – even in applications with demanding flashing and erosive particulate.
High Performance Butterfly Control Valves
Valdisk
The Valtek Valdisk™ is a double offset butterfly valve used whenever high capacity is needed with the lowest possible pressure loss
Valdisk TX3
The Valtek Valdisk TX3 is a triple offset butterfly control valve with an elliptical sealing surface that is completely in-contact at the final position only, and upon opening, all contact points are released immediately from the seat ring.
Pneumatic Actuators
Linear – FlowAct
The FlowAct pneumatic diaphragm actuator is a high-thrust, multi-spring actuator for direct or reverse action — easy installation and field reversible without additional parts.
Linear – VL-C
The Flowserve VL-C spring cylinder linear actuators are powerful, compact, high-performance pneumatic actuators that provide solid throttling or on-off operation for automatic control valves. For applications where aluminum materials are not acceptable, Flowserve offers the compact, lightweight and high thrust of the VL-C carbon steel spring cylinder linear actuator. Offering identical springs and all the advantages of VL actuators, the VL-C actuator replaces all aluminum parts with carbon steel.
Rotary – NR
The Valtek NR diaphragm actuator is a compact actuator with high torque and pneumatic stiffness for excellent throttling capabilities.
